Pay cut for Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger

Guardian editor-in-chief, Alan Rusbridger, took a pay cut of £34,000 in the 12 months to the end of March, according to the financial results unveiled today by Guardian Media Group.
Rusbridger received total remuneration of £411,000 in 2009/10, compared with £445,000 the previous year.
Outgoing GMG chief executive Carolyn McCall receiving an executive bonus of £143,000, GMG Radio chief executive Stuart Taylor £90,000, and GNM managing director Tim Brooks £64,000.
There was also a £233,000 payment to former GMG Radio chief executive John Myers, and £444,000 to Mark Dodson, outgoing head of GMG Regional, whose leading title, the Manchester Evening News, was sold off to Trinity Mirror in February.
